We have had a great Christmas (so far) We didn't sleep great last night, I thought I'd grow out of that when I got older...
I was to excited. I was ultra sneaky. Mark thought he was going to get something in a little box, but I got him a home theater system. I snuck it in side and hid it in the Laundry room inside another box that has been in there for ever. I was so excited to give it to him.
Oh and my awesome sister gave us her "old" video camera for christmas, so we set it up last night and taped the kids this morning. It was like waking the dead to get Lydia up this morning. She didnt' get a nap yesterday and was dead at 5:30, so we woke her up gave her a bath and put her in bed at 6. We had to tell her 3 times this morning that she gets to open presents and have candy before she woke up and got out of bed.
Oh and I got a pocket knife, and a special eddition of Mary Poppins, AND a cool fiddle music book. Mark knows me well :)
We didn't really take pictures this morning since we had the video camera. So I wont be posting many pictures.
OH OH OH, our internet will be set up on MONDAY!!

Coming Soon
So it is looking like we will get internet soon. With Marks new calling he need to communicate with the Bishop on a daily basis, which means email. WAHOO!
And I'm so excited. We just got a Wii for our Christmas. We had an extra surprise Chriastmas "bonus" so we got it over the weekend. It's made out arms a little sore. But it beats the HECK out of watching TV.

mostly pictures
Lydia went as Giselle from Enchanted this year. 1/2 the time she makes me call her Giselle, and she wont answer to Lydia.
Danton is my little climbing monkey, so I thought this was very fitting. :)

Not to mention he is my trouble maker. He loves my cabinets and I can't keep him out of my kitchen the door way is too wide.
I guess he decided he was hungry cause he got in his chair all by him self
This is Lydia posing in her heart blanket skirt. Isn't she lovely!
And one day Lydia left several pieces of her shredded wheat cereal in her bowl and after they were all nice and soggy, Danton pulled the bowl off the table and ate the mess off the floor. As you can see he was quite proud of him self, and he actually did a pretty good job of "cleaning" it all up. He got every last piece.

Thanksgiving day Lydia got a hair cut. She had been talking about it since I got mine and she even held open scissors up to her hair one time, so I figured I'd better do it before she does. This is the before picture.
And these are the after. I love it and she loves it. She holds up her hair and says, "this is my style" It's pretty cute.

catching up
ok, so I have been bad at taking pictures since we moved. I didn't even get Halloween pictures. But Lydia wears her costume all the time, and Danton's was easy too, so we will just take pictures later. Lydia was Giselle from enchanted, I made her the curtain dress, and she has worn it EVERY day. Danton was a monkey. Same costume I made for Lydia when she was that age. Just as cute on Danton as it was on her. I wore my fall back costume, my chicken hat, and went as an egg head :) I wanted to take the kids to the trunk or treat, but it just didn't' work out, we were too busy that day. so we just went to people we know. Uncle Paul and Aunt Ann, Granny and Papa, and My friend that I have been tap dancing with. i think we got about 7 pieces of candy.
As far as tap dancing, this is the way to do it. Since it's just me and my friend we can go at my pace, and we are having a good old time. I've gone for 4 weeks, we have already finished one song and we are starting a new one. And each week we talk about something else and find more stuff that we have in common. That hour goes by SO fast. It's way more fun then the dance studio I was going to last year. :)
My little car that I got 7 1/2 years ago is finally giving us trouble. Mark is working on it again today for the 3rd or 4th time in the last month and a half trying to fix what ever the heck is wrong with it. We are hopeful that this part he is getting today will do the trick. But fixed or not, we still need to get a new car in the near future. We are driving a little 2 door car with a booster seat for Lydia and a rear facing car seat for Danton. So in order to get them buckled, we have to climb in the back seat. yeah, it's fun. We just aren't looking forward to car payments.
oh oh oh, I almost forgot! Renters insurance. We finally set up renters insurance. Oh Halloween night after we got the kids in bed we were watching tv and about 8:00 or so we started hearing sirens. We realized they were fire trucks and they kept coming. Mark finally said "Sarah, I think they are close." He looked out the back door and I looked out the front door. "I see it!" he said to me. There is an apartment complex right across the street from us and tons of smoke was coming up from one of the buildings. He walked down the parking lot to see and called me when he saw it. I made sure the kids were asleep, locked the door and walked down to see it too. It was crazy! I got there in time to see the flames cut out the side of the building and move on to the roof. We watched for about 20 mins. the flames for a good 15 feet above the roof. The next day we drove past on our way to church and we could see the damage it caused. Monday first thing I called and got our insurance set up.
ps 2 units were destroyed, one belonged to a couple in their early 20, and the other a single mom with a 5 and 7 ish year old girls. very sad. No one was hurt.

quick update
Ok I'll do my best to do some quick updates. I say quick cause after almost a month of not blogging there is a bit to catch up on. Lydia's new phrase is Kay-naw naw. We have yet to find out what it means. It's kinda like a wild card. She usually says it when she is mad or something isn't quite right with her. She has another wild card word. Ever. Ever is the opposite of Kay-naw naw. She will add the word Even to any sentence when she is happy, or when something is good, or pretty. She loves pretty things, EVER! She also mixes up her words, I how learned to do it, or I gotfor (forgot) I can't remember anything else specifically that she has said, but I do have a little story. (although it's not as good with out being able to see her face)
She was getting ready to take a bath and she was in the tub as I was starting to fill it. Once the water got warm I told her to plug the tub. She grabbed the faucet, I said no, it's lower push the plug, so she pushed a little metal round cap on the wall of the tub below the faucet looking a little uncertain as she was squatting in the tub. I laughed and said "no, push on the bottom" with a VERY confused look on her face she tried to follow my instructions and slowly moved her hand to cover her bottom. I busted up laughing and bent down and showed her what I meant.
We went to visit Great Grandma Willis last Saturday and we rode with Grandma and Grandpa Adams. As we got on the interstate Dad went to pass a car and moved to the left lane, Lydia said "Mom. I'm scared. (putting her hands on her face) We're on the wong side of the woad"
I didn't even know she knew what the wrong side of the road was.
Danton has 4 teeth now (finally) and is climbing EVERYTHING, he LOVES our stairs. He is also starting to stand up on his own.
I have taken to calling him Danton the Conquer. If he sees an obstacle in his way he doesn't go around it, he purposely goes over to it and conquers it. It is SO funny to watch.

pictures to come
We are all moved in, and we love the new place and the new location. IT's all totally great. Lydia likes the stairs, and I even made her a castle out of one of the bigger empty boxes. She loves to dance in her castle wearing her princess dress, with her frog, she is so funny.
We don't have the internet yet, and we probably wont get it till after we get a new car. Which hopefully will be soon. Readers digest version: Our only car (small 2 door car that I the end of my senior year in HS) is dying on us. The problem is not sever yet, but if we keep driving it, it will get bad fast I'm afraid. So the car is parked at Mark's parents house and we have been borrowing their 4 door truck till we get a new car. And with no internet it's hard to search for them. :)
I was looking at my camera last night and we have lots of pictures adn videos that need to be posted, but I forgot ot bring it with me today :( sorry.
So you may not see much of me on here and facebook for the next while. And I shall adjust to living "out of the loop" :)

TAP AGAIN!!
I'm going to start tap dancing again in 2 weeks, I'm SO excited. I found out that a sister in my ward use to own a dance studio, so a couple weeks ago I ask if she would be interested in teaching again. She said that would be fun and we talked for a few mins. Well I kept thinking about it and since we are moving to a new ward next week I thought I'd better talk o her while I could. I gave her a call yesterday, she said "wow, you're serious about this aren't' you" I laughed and said "very serious" She said she hadn't thought about it since we talked until the night before I called her.
So we talked for about 10 mins and decided that after we move I will give her a call and we will start dancing once a week at her house. She will teach me as long as she can. I' excited though cause it's a very casual setting. I can bring my kids, so I don't' have to worry about Mark being home or studying, and she has an open schedule so we can do it when ever is good for me. I'm SO excited!
The last time I was in class I was 8 months pregnant with Danton and my balance was not that great. So I wasn't really in the shape I wanted to be in. I just think this is going to work out great, cause Lydia is going to LOVE coming with me. I took Lydia and Danton to my tap class when he was about 2 months old just to show them off, and Lydia would have stayed and watched for the entire class, she loved watching them dance.

moving
I haven't been doing much posting lately. It's not really been on my mind. I have been focused on moving instead. We are just moving into Springfield, so it's no big deal, but I still have to clean and pack and I've got 2 weeks to get it all done.
We are so excited about our new place. Love the location. It's about a block south of Battlefield, and it's off of Golden/Scenic. (between Kansas, and West By Pass) It's a town house and it's bigger then our current place and CHEAPER! WOOT WOOT! AND we get 2 months of FREE rent. So we are going to take that money and finally buy us a bed. YES! We move on the 24, two weeks from tomorrow. Can't wait. So if you don't hear much from me in the next couple weeks you know why. :)

I am enjoying...
I am enjoying a fat free, sugar free, calorie free, guilt free milk shake. Want my recipe? sure! It's got one banana, 5 strawberries, a dash of skim milk, several scoops of country rich vanilla Ice cream, and Hershey's milk chocolate pieces.
How in the world? Do you ask. Here is my secrete. I cleaned my ENTIRE room today, AND did my dishes after dinner. ANYTHING is possible. :)
p.s. I didn't even shove anything under my bed! :)

Moden Lilly
Lydia cycles through favorite movies, right now her favorite movie is Thoroughly Modern Millie, or as she likes to call it Moden Lilly. She sings the songs and quotes the movie, and it's so funny to me, cause this is one of my favorite movies and to hear Lydia sing Tapioca in the car on the way home from Wal Mart just cracks me up.
She was watching it yesterday and there was some slow dreamy music (the first time Trevor Graden sees Miss. Dorothy) and she picks up her frog and started ballroom dancing. It was so funny. So I grabbed my camera to take a picture...then the batteries died. By the time I got new ones she had moved on, but I did manage to get her to do it again. I got a video too which I'll post later...only she was just running in the video, either way it was cute.

Last night she complained of a stomach ache, so Mark gave her a tums, we get the fruity ones so now she thinks it's candy. This morning she started telling me she was sick again. I told her to eat her breakfast, and that would help her feel better. But she kept complaining, well maybe she really doesn't feel good. So I told her I would get her a bowl to throw up in.
PAUSE. "No mom, I dis feel bedder. I don't wana srow up in da bowl. I dis need Daddy med-a-sin"
ha ha ha that's what I thought. Medicine sounded great but if she has to throw up in a bowl maybe being sick isn't that fun. :)

Church
So yesterday when we got to church the doors were locked, so we drove around and parked on the other side, which we don't usually park on that side. So we get in side and I fix Lydia's hair cause if I fix it before we leave she takes it out in the car. Though I don't know why i bother it comes out in Nursery anyway. :)
As we were singing the opening some Lydia said she needed to go potty, so out we go. But she didn't want to go in the regular potty, she wanted to go in the nursery potty, they have a little tiny toddler toilet. The door was open but the lights weren't working, and that scared Lydia, she sat on the potty with her head in her hands. So we went to the big potty. She couldn't decide which stall. We went in one and she got upset cause she wanted the other one, so we switched, and she got upset again cause she wanted the one we were just in....that's a 2 year old for you. I said either go in this one or we will leave, so she screamed....ooo this is fun. The bathroom echos. So I took her into a room and held her down, till she stopped screaming. She calmed down and said she needed to go potty, so we tried again. Same result.
By now the sacrament had started to I took my screaming child out side and held her till she calmed down. We had a chat and went back inside. Sacrament was still going on so we sat in the foyer waiting to go sit in the chapel. Then Daddy came out with Danton. He was singing his sleepy song which actually sounds like loud yelling, the more tired he gets the louder he groans.
As we waited, Lydia found a friend. A little boy about her age. And she started flirting. talking about colors and shapes, and she was playing with her hair and twisting back and forth and smiling real big, then they chased each other...and got in trouble for running. Then they started all over again.
When we got back inside Lydia made friends with the girl behind us (about my age this time) She shared her lip gloss, and Lydia felt so pretty. she was being good so I turned around and let her stay. Next time I looked back she had mascara, and blush on also...um I'm glad she was having fun dressing up, I just didn't really like it during church. She came up to me and was playing with her hair again and twisting back and forth, she was gorgeous. She told me so her self. I washed her face before nursery.
Then my favorite part of the day, after church was over since we parked on the opposite side I had to walk down the opposite hall, and I saw all the people I usually miss after church. One of these people that I happened to run into I had been wanting to talk to. She use to own a Dance studio so I asked her if she would be interested in teaching tap again. She smiled and said now wouldn't that be fun. Then she told me that she had actually been thinking about starting it up again. WOOT WOOT!!!
I got SO excited. IF I can tap again I really need to be able to take my kids with me cause Mark will be in school. So there is nothing concrete now besides she thinks it will be fun too, but it got me excited. I'll keep bugging her till she decides one way or the other.
I haven't done tap since I was pregnant with Danton, and I really need to get back in shape. That would be AWESOME! So we shall see...

Just because Mommy didn't get mad, doesn't make it ok to do it again!
Friday I put Lydia down for a nap. I put the lock on the out side of her door so I can keep her in there when it is nap time. She is pretty good about staying in bed when she is suppose to. Sometimes she is a pill and will try anything to get out of bed.
"I need some water"
"I need to go potty"
"I need kissies"
"I want to watch cartoons"
"I want to sleep on the couch"
I usually just ignore her till she goes to sleep, unless she needs to go potty. But I never let her out the first time she asks. I give her 5 or 10 mins, because we always take her potty before bed/nap time. Well Friday at nap time I got the I need to go potty bit. I let her sleep in her princess dress mainly cause I didn't want to deal with the fight to take it off. Then I hear instead of the usual "I need to go potty" she says "I pee'd in my princess dress!" So I come running to the door.
I opened the door and she came walking funny out in her underwear, and I noticed the "heavy" looking underwear. you guessed it folks, she pooped in her panties. She didn't get in trouble cause it was technically my fault for not getting her when she said she needed to go. So we cleaned her up and sent her back to bed.
SATURDAY... Nap time rolls around again, and I hear the potty bit. I wait and hear it a few more times in the next couple mins, but it didn't really sound urgent. Not even 5 mins passes and I hear "I peed in my princess dress" I went running. She pooped AGAIN.
Now you have to understand, usually when Lydia has to go any kind of potty she starts knocking at the door and getting louder and crying if I take to long, so the fact that she didn't' even try for 5 mins, that was just sillyness. And mom was NOT happy. PLUS she took her underwear of in the bathroom, so I had THAT mess to clean up.
I wiped her bum and said "ok, since you pooped in your underwear and got all dirty we need to clean you off, so lets go take a shower." Lydia does not like the shower. usually I wait for the water to warm up, but she hopped right in so I closed the curtain and gave her a COLD shower. ...lets just say that left a big impact on that little girl, she soon went to bed, and I don't think we will have that problem again.

Wana Learn EVERYTHING
The html for my blog is wanna learn everything. I was starting to think that I should have done something more fitting like Rone famliy, or something along those lines, but I have come to realize that it is plenty fitting.
I chose "wanna learn everything" for my blog cause it very well describes me. (especially in reference to the fine arts) I see something new and I want to try it. Like the cookie tin banjo I made at the begining of the year. Or my "work" with duct tape. No one showed me how, I saw something or got an idea, and I wanted to figure it out.
I need to pace my self though, lately I've been wanting to learn all sorts of new stuff. New instruments really. Piano, Fiddle, and Mandolin. I want to learn all these new things for my self, but also so I have that much more I can offer my kids. Lets face it, they aren't getting much academic enlightenment from me with my do-what-I-have-to-to-graduate high school diploma. I wont be much help with their math home work :)
I also learned something new about my self. My talent is not in being able to play different instruments, or sew, or glass etching, or any of the random crafts I can do. My talent lies in being able to teach my self something new, and being able to improve with out a teacher guiding me along.
All I need to learn something new (for the most part, not on everything) is to have a strong desire to learn it (you wont get very far with out the proper motivation) and resources available, ie the internet. I taught my self to play the banjo, never bought a single book or paid for a lesson, I found all my songs and info on line. And I have gotten good enough to give beginner banjo lessons. Not to shabby. :)
Well it's official. I'm now learning to play the piano. I am borrowing my Grandma's key board and so far I've played it every day. And I'm picking it up faster then I thought I would. I just need to remember I can't get good over night. I'm having so much fun with it though. I'd like to be good enough to play in church. I'm always happy to serve ( or try to be) and what better way to serve then to get to do something you love too. And you can't really play the banjo for Relief Society now can you :)
I'm also wanting to practice my fiddle. That one is a little harder to practice cause I sound so bad...and I can't wear ear plugs if I want to improve :) I play piano more casue it's out and I cant' leave my fiddle out where little fingers can play with it.
Just give me a year on the fiddle and piano to where I can just sit down a play a pice of music in front of me, and I'm sure something else will catch my eye.
It's just too bad that my very favorite "hobby" is something I cant' teach my self. I need a tap teacher to progress, and that is something that only sometimes works out. :(
I chose "wanna learn everything" for my blog cause it very well describes me.

The Music Store
Yesterday I had to stop into Palen Music Center. My violin needs new strings and I needed to get some good rosin. Well he had just sold his last set of strings in stock earlier in the day. Because he had no strings for me he gave me the rosin for free. sa-WEET! (which by the way it ROCKS makes all the difference in my sound)
Well I had Danton in his car seat and he was asleep. The sales man asked if I needed him to get the door for me. I said no cause I wanted to show Lydia around.
First a few new instruments, band instruments, sax, trumpet, clarinet, and so on. Then an entire wall of guitars! She was amazed! then only 2 banjos, then another entire wall of electric guitars. She just learned what those were the day before. So many colors! Next a huge floor of drum sets. the first one we came to had a tiny little Lydia size stool. She got to play the drums (just a little rap on each one) more drums, then pianos! then back to the drums, then back to the guitars.
I swear she could spend more time in there then I could. She had so much fun in there. I couldn't even BRIBE her to get out. not candy, not chocolate. I had to DRAG her out while she was throwing a fit cause she wanted to stay longer.
Didn't love the fit but I loved that she loved the music store. I told her we would come back in a few weeks to get soem strings. I'll have to plan for more time then. :) That's our little girl.

Dancing Danton
Mark pulled out his Guitar yesterday and started playing. Lydia was over joyed as usual and started dancing. Danton had been playing on the floor happily until Mark started to play. Then he got very upset. I figured he decided he was hungry, cause that's what he does. One minuet happy the next mad and screaming for food. "I'm hungry, feed me now!"
Well I didn't get as far as the food. I grabbed his arms and stood him up and immediately he was happy and laughing and kicking his feet. It took me only a second or two to realize what he was doing. He was DANCING. He was upset when Lydia got to dance and he couldn't. So we all had a great time dancing to Daddy's music.
I think that boy will go straight to walking. He has been so close to crawling for almost 2 weeks now, and he just wont do it, bu he LOVES to walk around the house. He is happiest when he is on his feet.

Yes you can...
Yes. You CAN boil water in the microwave.
No. You can NOT make boiled eggs in the microwave.
I thought it might be faster...but it wasn't. I was turned around cutting veggies at the other counter when I heard it explode, I turned around in time to see the door slam closed from the force that opened it.
I'm sad that I missed the explosion, but I'm happy that the explosion missed me and Lydia who was in the kitchen helping me.
ha ha ha oops
Later I noticed the eggs made it all the way across the kitchen

Potty Party
Lilly stayed teh night friday night cause my parents were going to the Temple Saturday. So Lydia did get a sort of party. She had a sleep over and got to play all day, and later I took them to the park to play. Then Keith and Paula came over for dinner, which was also very exciting for Lydia. She LOVES LOVES LOVES Keith, and Paula. So after dinner we all had some toilet cake. Keith got the plunger. Not many people can say they have eaten a plunger. :) So we had fun.

I have a strange child...
Lydia said she was tired, so she went and got her pillow and blankets and laid down on the couch. I was sitting on the other end of the couch watching tv when I heard her talking in a funny voice. When I looked at her adn realized what she was doing I cracked up laughing, and she kept me laughing
She was laying down but she had stuck one foot out of the blanket and was wiggling her toes. She was making her toes talk to me.
Hello Mom. Hello Dad, I'm tired. I take a nap. We watch tv. Hello Dad. Hello John. John and baby. Whatcha doing? We gonna eat dinner.
it was hard to understand everything she was saying cause she was using a silly voice, but she just kept talking and when I'd laugh she would crack up, knowing that she was being really funny.
Seriously, where did she come from?

Concert Pianist
Lydia is my concert Pianist. I made her at her request, a foam banjo, a foam guitar, and a foam piano. She loves them all and plays them all. Yesterday she played a duet with her self on the piano and banjo. However, when she is just playing the piano (especially when she is wearing her beautiful princess dress) she puts her piano on the gray tub, pulls up her bucket chair like she is sitting at a real piano.

Then she plays a beautiful song

Tap Lessons
This is Paula, she is awesome. I told Paula I'd teach her how to tap dance if she would come to my house. I told her that at the beginning of the summer, and we finally had a chance to do it this week. She came over thursday to have her first lesson. IT was fun, and boy am I out of shape. I haven't tapped since Jan...yeah, when I was pregnant. It was fun, Lydia tapped with us too. She LOVES to tap dance.
Paula and I were thinking on the same page on Thursday. We even dressed alike, with out realizing it. :)

bike trailer booster seat...yep that's right
We had our Adams Reunion this weekend at grandmas house, I'll post pictures soon. I'm getting a TON from Rissy, the ones I took on my camera aren't that great. So when I get the other pictures I"ll post about the reunion. These pictures are from last week. The last day James and Kelli were our neighbors :( Ethan and Aleen came up stairs to my house for naps while James and Kelli kept working. Aleena didn't really take a nap, but she was a good girl. She got up after an hour and played with Lydia.

I also took Lydia and Danton for a bike ride. This was Danton's first bike ride. He is actually too small to ride in the trailer. Kids aren't suppose to ride till at least 18 months. They need to be able to sit up on their own and be big enough for the buckles. Well, there is no point in having a bike trailer if BOTH of my kids can't ride in it. I already have a bike seat Lydia could have used by her self. So I made a booster seat for Danton. This was our first test run.

Danton liked it just fine, but by the end of the ride he had scooted close to Lydia and she was not enjoying it so much.

since then I have made a few adjustments. I made it out of 1 inch thick foam and I cut pieces and glued them together till I had the right shape then I made a cover for it with Velcro to attach it to the strap that holds the shoulder straps down. Well I added a seat belt to keep Danton from slipping forward like he did in the picture, and I took the foam out and carved it to fit him a little better.
We went for a walk last night and it worked a lot better. the only problems we had was Danton pulled Lydia's hair a couple times, but no problems with the seating.

You threw off my groove...
It's time to go grocery shopping again, and we need a few things, like diapers and Tylenol. Since mark is in school it doesn't leave much time for me to go do the shopping we need. When I need to go to the store I wait till everyone is in bed, other wise I'd never see Mark at all. So yesterday was shopping day. Kids went to bed at 8 and I should have left then, but I still wanted to finish folding the laundry...if I didn't do it then It wouldnt get done till I did laundry again. and I needed to make a list. And we were watching tv and I was distracted. So we read scriptures and off I go to Wal mart at 9:15. I'm usually asleep by 10.
Driving there was nice. no time limit, just do what I need to do. So first things first. I got all my non food items first. Diapers, socks, Tylenol, etc. Then off to the grocery section. Then it HITS me. Did I bring my wallet? I check my back pack, not there, check my pockets...oh wait these shorts don't have pockets...DARNIT! I left my wallet at home. Well for get it. It was 9:45 I wasn't going to drive home to get it and go back to Wal Mart and start all over again. So I put everything back where I got it and I went to go find another item that I wasnt' even sure if wal mart had. I figure if I find it now I can just go grab it next time I"m here. They don't' have it, I was looking for flat tooth picks...if you were wondering.
But during my search I realize I had my check book, AND my WIC folder, so I didn't have to leave empty handed. So I go back grab my cart and fill it back up. Then I stop and find the correct WIC checks. I had grabbed a few things but as I went to look to make sure I was getting all the right stuff, POOF the checks were GONE. Oh no. so I retrace my steps and finally find them again. Ok, so my brain is getting frazzled and things are taking longer than normal.
FINALLY I make it to the check out line. I had 3 WIC checks. first one rings up, no prob. Second one problem. I had next months check, not this months. oops. So I find the correct date, but the food list is slightly different. I was missing a few things, so we figured after I was done I would go back and grab them. She just rang up the stuff twice, like my eggs and juice, I was just missing one of each. ok, got that one figured out. Last check. wrong date again. Ok. I feel like a dork. the line behind me is growing. we figure it out eventually and finally get things squared away. whew. now on to my non food items. Everything is bagged and in the cart I write my check she runs it through and turns to me and asks for my ID. UGGG. No I left my wallet at home, that's why I had to use a check. Do you know your ID number? ha ha ha you are funny. NO I don't know I ID number. so she says, do you want to leave it here and come back with you ID? What? No. I'm tired. so I unload the stuff from my cart run back and get my eggs, feeling rather...I don't know. I was just tired and sick of running into problems. finally I get back to my cart and out to my car. BAH.
I thought the crazies were through but I open the door and I hear Danton Crying So I leave the groceries on my kitchen floor and take care of him. I was up for about 30 so I turned on the tv thinking he was gonna start playing. Lucky for me he didn't. IT took him about 15 mins but he fell back asleep. I put everything away and get ready for bed and crawl in and get comfortable. CRASH!!! Lydia fell out of bed. Wow, really? So I got up adn helped her, she was fine. I think she would have just slept on the floor.
I think my class on Sunday threw off my groove. But I guess if Life didn't' get crazy at times we wouldn't appreciate the good times as much. I'm looking forward to the reunion this weekend. I guarantee I'll really appreciate those good times. :)

Found my motivation
I love learning new instruments. I would love to be able to play every instrument in western culture. However before you can learn to play an instrument, you have to really want to learn, you gotta find your motivation. Whatever that may be. second you have to have the time, and third, you have to have that instrument.
I would really love to learn the piano next. I took lessons as a kid, but only cause EVERYONE told me how long my fingers were, and I would be so good at playing piano. So I thought it would be easy...nope I still had to practice, who'd have thought. I didn't retain ANYTHING except how to read music from those lessons.
As an adult I watch people play and it amazes me, I would LOVE to be able to play. But I have never had the motivation to learn. Well I think I may have just tapped into that motivation recently.
A few months ago I was extended the call to be the Relief Society pianist. I would have loved that, but I had to say no cause well I don't' know how to play. A few weeks later I was called to be a Primary teacher...again. I know big surprise. Although this is actually a pretty good set up. I'm team teaching the 6 year olds with another sister in the ward, who also teaches Relief Society on the 4th Sunday. So week 1 & 2 she teaches class and I play crowd control, and week 3& 4 I teach class.
Well yesterday was my first week 4. Teaching with NO crowd control. No big deal, I've taught this age before with out help. Nothing new right? ...WRONG! I had 9 kids in my class that day. When we got into class I could not get enough control after the opening prayer to start the lesson. So I left the class ran back to Primary and asked the president for someone to come help. Returned to my class as soon as I could and was joined a few mins later by my crowd control. Class was STILL terrible. Had I not had help I don't know what I'd have done. I left crowd control to her, and it was not an easy job. She took some kids out and that helped. And when they came back things were better...for a little bit.
Long PAINFUL story short, that was by FAR the WORST primary experience I have EVER had. I was frustrated nearly to tears a couple time, even WITH help. Most of the kids were angles, but 3 or 4 were unbelievably bad.
Now, had I been able to play the piano, I would have NEVER experienced yesterday. I would have the best calling in the world. Playing music for the sisters in the ward. So I may have just found my motivation to learn to play the piano...now, if I can just get a hold of one. :)
