Nature Center

We went to the Nature center with my cousin Kelli and her family last week, It was fun. Mark and James and good friends, and Lydia and Aleena are good friends, so it's very fun to hang out with them. We saw turtles and fish and TONS of deer. And since you can't hunt at the nature center they were not very afraid of people. But you arent' suppose to stray from the path, so that was as close as we got, but the picture makes them look further then they really were. Lydia had tons of fun, then we had cheep chinese, YUMMY! It was actually teh best chinese I'd had in probably 3 years. I will definately be going back there.
All in all it was a very fun family outing. Even though we didn't get many pictures.

Is that a deer in the background of those pictures? That's fweakin' awesome! I've only had that happen to me once, and it was cool (seeing a deer while you're walking I mean).

There are 2 actually, and we stayed around them for 5 or 10 mins. Total I think we saw about 6, it was really cool.

haha well if you wanted to do that you could have just taken a walk around our house. With all the trees around here we're CONSTANTLY seeing deer. Actually one guy had a baby deer with spots and all up on his balcony. He said it walked right up to him. He called it his "pet" but he had just called animal control and they were on their way to pick it up. Not only do we see them all the time..they're getting hit all the time. (hence the dent in the front of our car)

Then again...it is WAY more cool to see a deer up close when you walking around in the woods. Wild life is ALWAYS cool.

Uh, is that a real deer? And if so, why the heck is there a spotlight pointed at it?

There was just a break in the trees. You can see in the other pictures the light is on the same spot on the log. I just happened to get a cool picture. I assure you it's real. And at the time it was real close.

Look at that! They just come right up there and let you take a picture...much like the rabid squirrels of Idaho.

Yep, so the deer in Missouri must be trained to stand in the spotlight for "possed" pictures. :) How perfect was that!
